The reason and treatment method of self-priming pump without suction
1. the newly installed self-priming pump has no suction
The newly installed self-priming pump has little or no suction. Possible reasons are:
1, the reason for the leakage of the inlet pipeline.
2, the installation of the inlet pipe is too large, too long caused.
3. There is no reason to add water to the pump cavity.
4. It is caused by the reverse rotation of the self-priming pump motor.
If the pipeline leaks, a pressure test or a negative pressure test can be carried out. If the hose is a hose, a bulkhead can be installed at both ends of the water pipe and one in the middle of the exhaust pipe. Users often remove the inlet of the self-priming pump and put it at the inlet by hand to sense the suction force and judge the problem. In fact, this test method is wrong. Since the regular self-priming centrifugal pump does not inhale very fast, it can only slowly clean the air in the pipe through a fully enclosed pipe to reach a certain negative pressure before the liquid can be pressed up, and when the inlet pipe is removed, it cannot definitely sense the suction force. If the self-priming pump cannot suck up the liquid because the self-priming height is too high and the self-priming distance of the pipeline is too long, high-suction self-priming pump products can be selected.
What is the reason why the self-priming pump used normally in 2. has no suction at all:
If the self-priming pump in normal use suddenly loses suction, check whether the self-priming pump cavity and impeller are blocked, power off and close the inlet and outlet valves during maintenance, open the drain bolt of the self-priming pump body, drain the water in the pump cavity, remove the motor foot bolts, separate the coupling, remove the direct-connected motor bottom angle bolts, and then remove a circle of bolts on the pump cover, the bearing seat and the impeller can be moved out together, and after moving out, you can see whether there is clogged debris on the impeller.
